They are used in hot water applications to support the tube/pipe wall which ensures a far more effective seal. Prevents tube from being compressed/pushed out of shape. How do you use John Guest Tube Inserts? Simply slide into tube end before inserting any push-on fittings, easy as that. Required for hot water pipe but not essential for cold water pipes. |
