Why buy the VanConnect Zero

The VanConnect Zero is specifically designed for your caravan. The Wi-Fi router works on a standard 12 volt power connection, meaning an easy installation in your caravan or camper. You simply install the VanConnect Zero inside the caravan and link it to the Starlink Integration Kit.

The VanConnect Zero utilises MU-MIMO technology (Multiple User, Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output). Through MU-MIMO, you can rest assured that all of your devices on the WiFi network can get maximum internet speeds. Traditional MIMO modems communicate with all the WiFi devices in turn. When there are multiple devices on the WiFi network, some devices have to wait and the network will lag. The biggest difference between traditional MIMO and MU-MIMO is that MU-MIMO can communicate with multiple devices at the same time, instead of only one device at a time.

With the VanConnect Zero multiple devices can connect to the internet. The superb WiFi range of the Zero will allow you to connect devices from inside your caravan, or up to 100 metres away from your van. The Zero uses WiFi 5 technology, also known as 802.11-AC wireless, with a throughput of 1,200 Mbit per second. A must when streaming High Definition movies to multiple devices, or using Netflix or any other online streaming services in your caravan.

The VanConnect Zero boast both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network bands. As most people would know, 5 GHz WiFi is much faster, whereas the 2.4 GHz WiFi network provides a greater WiFi range, but is more susceptible to radio interference. The Zero is a Dual Band Router, giving you best of both worlds with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The Zero also has a built-in media centre, allowing you to plug in USB sticks or external hard drives. You can share movies, videos or music across multiple devices at the same time. The VanConnect Zero is also able to accept SD cards, allowing you to view and transfer movies and pictures from digital cameras, or just use the SD card as additional network attached storage.

The Zero can read USB and SD drives that are formatted as exFAT or NTFS, not just FAT32 like some other Caravan Wi-Fi routers on the market. This gives the VanConnect Zero the capability to connect to more storage drives and read files larger than 4 GB. Great for watching those High Definition movies, or storing your HD drone footage.
